Torque limiters and couplings
Torque limiters are mechanical power transmission devices which are specially design to protect equipments, or its work, from excessive torque and mechanical overload. When the over torque is reached, the torque limiters start slipping or uncouple the load entirely.

Couplings are devices used to connect two shafts together with the purpose to transmit the power from one side to the other side. Normally, couplings allow some small misalignment of the shaft in order in order to continue with the normal operability of the machine.
- Jaw Couplings
- Sleeve Coupling
- Tire Coupling
- Disc Coupling
- Diaphragm Coupling
- Gear Couplings
